"The Happiest Place on Earth"

I have been to California many times, and know I will visit it many more. Among its deserts, sunny beaches and amazing shopping is my preferred quick vacation spot, Disneyland. Being a Disneyland fanatic myself, I agree with its title as being “the happiest place on earth.” The much-loved entertainment and upbeat music make Disney theme parks a place like no other. The themes of all the eight lands in the park create a magical atmosphere which makes it different from all the other theme parks. Being able to meet the characters is another reason Disneyland is such a fun experience. In the Disneyland amusement park there are many rides including Space Mountain, Alice and Wonderland and Thunder Mountain Railroad which are some of my favourite attractions. While in the parks the food all though overpriced is extremely good; my choice is always the stands with fresh fruits and vegetables where you can get pineapple and pickles for a snack. I also find California Adventure to be a unique look at the culture of California while still having the magic of a Disney theme park. California screaming is the ultimate roller coaster which I have been on over twenty times; as well the Tower of Terror is beyond doubt terrifying. When deciding on a last minute vacation destination with either family or friends Disneyland a timeless vacation for all ages.

My Next Vacation

I have had the opportunity to do a fair bit of travelling with my family growing up. I enjoy traveling, although I have not been to the most exotic and foreign travel destinations of the world I hope to one day visit them all. My dream job would be a career where I would get paid to travel and visit tourist destinations. I know there are many careers just as the one I described but I do not know where someone would go to get one.

The last destination I wanted to go to was Cuba. I have never been and heard it is a much safer place to visit then Mexico. Ultimately I think it is naive to believe anywhere is safe and it is more about the situation you put yourself in. I now have reconsidered going to Cuba. I am currently planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas where I will be leaving for at the end of this semester. My friend and are I are going together and are very excited because we both will be in need of a beach vacation by the end of our exams. I have chosen Cabo because after some research it appears to have a large American presence. I have been to Mexico three other times, once to Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel and Tijuana. I have had good experiences in both Puerto Vallarta and Cozumel but as many may know Tijuana is a different story. My largest concern about travelling to Mexico on my own is about safety at night, as I am aware you have to be careful when traveling to foreign countries.
